Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello was born April 18, 1967. She is an American actor and producer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) and Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003), A History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Prisoners 2013, Grown Ups 2010, and Lights Out (2016) are some of her film roles. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and also in additional starring roles, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 until 2021, as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the series NCIS. Bello was born April 18 1967 in Norristown 2 to Kathy Bello who was a school nurse and teacher. Bello also appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998). Bello also starred in other roles, like Michelle McBride in the series' first season Touch in 2013, and the role of Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS from 2017 through 2021. In the field of political science Bello was a student in political science at Villanova University. After graduating, Bello honed her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. She published a blog in November of 2013 about her same-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. The book she wrote was published, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Questioning The Labels We Give Ourselves, (Dey Street Books) 28 April 2015.
